Refund, Cancellation Policies, Disclaimer

Disclaimer- Eligibility Notice By purchasing or attending a program, the buyer and/or attendee agree to the following statements: PICC Resource Associates, LLC will not be held responsible to ensure that the content contained in PICC Resource Associates, LLC products, courses, or programs fits or is within a buyer and/or attendee's professional clinical scope of practice.  PICC Resource Associates, LLC employees, officers, instructors, clinical consultants, and or independent contractors will not be held liable if a buyer or attendee does not ensure that course or program content is within the buyer or attendee's professional clinical scope of practice.  It is the responsibility of the program buyer or attendee to ensure that course or program content is within an buyer or attendee's clinical scope of practice for the buyer or attendee's profession prior to signing up for a program.

Refund, Exchanges, Returns, and Cancellation Policies: (Revised effective September 1st, 2014): 

Workshops (includes live in-person classes and lab practicums): Refunds may be issued for in-person classes, workshops, or lab practicums dates cancelled by customers if the cancellation request has been verified by PICC Resource Associates, LLC as received in writing via email, fax, or regular mail by 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time according to the following conditions:

  1. The in-person class, workshop, or lab practicum refund request must be in writing (email, fax, or regular mail), and the refund request must be received no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled in-person class, workshop, or lab practicum date.
  2. A $50.00 processing fee will be charged for each in-person class, workshop, or lab practicum cancelled and deducted from the total refund due.
  3. No refunds will be issued for any program (in-person class, workshop, or lab practicum) registrants that do not show up for a program or for refund requests or cancellations received within 13 days or less of the scheduled program date.
  4. A $50.00 processing fee will be charged to the class registrant or other purchaser as applicable for the checks received with insufficient funds.

Workshops, In-person Classes, Lab Practicums That Include Bonus Online Classes: A full refund cannot be issued for cancellation of an in-person class, workshop, or lab practicume that includes online bonus classes if the registered attendee has accessed or utilized one or more of the online classes, if this situation occurs and a  cancellation and refund is requested for an in-person class, workshop, or lab practicum; the refund may be issued per the guidelines listed above minus the value of the bonus online class (or online classes if more than one) regular sales price.

PICC Clinical Qualification Program: Payments, fees received for the PICC Clinical Qualification Program including any initial deposit are non-refundable with the exception of if the application for the program is declined by PICC Resource Associates, LLC. If application is declined by PICC Resource Associates, LLC or the PICC preceptor, payment received for the program will be refunded minus 25% of the full program fee and any merchant credit card fees charged. Applicant accepted into this program may cancel prior to the program clinical start date and reschedule one time subject to openings on the program schedule. Refund policies listed within this notice for in-person classes, workshops, and lab practicums do not apply to the PICC Clinical Qualification Program.

Cancellations By PICC Resource Associates, LLC- A scheduled in-person class, workshop, or lab practicum may be cancelled by PICC Resource Associates, LLC when unable to sufficiently fill class attendance. We reserve the right to cancel any in-person class, workshop, or lab practicum if sufficient registrations have not been received within 7 days of a scheduled in-person class, workshop, or lab practicum. If this occurs registrants for the cancelled program will be notified within 7 days prior to the class start date and will be offered a choice of either attendance to a rescheduled class date, transfer to a comparable class suggested by us, or a full refund of the in-person class, workshop, or lab practicum registration fee.

If PICC Resource Associates, LLC rejects or denies an application for the Phlebotomy Certification Program; a refund will be issued to the applicant for this program in the amount of total fee paid minus a $50.00 fee charged for application processing.

Online Classes and Programs, Printed, and Digital Media - No refunds or exchanges will be given once a program application or registration has been accepted by PICC Resource Associates, LLC or the online, printed, or digital product has been used, shipped, or delivered for use such as (but not limited to) printed textbooks, and digital products such as online, or DVD ROM programs.

Exception Physical Products: Physical products to be shipped (example: DVD ROMs); if a cancellation is made in less than 24 hours of an order and the product has not yet shipped- an order for such product can be cancelled for a full refund if we are notified within normal business hours.

Online Class Enrollment Extensions: We automatically extended the enrollment period for all of our online classes in 2014 to one full year. The full year allows registrants ample time to reaccess short term and moderate term online programs long after course completion. There are no extensions granted beyond the one year registration term.

Transfers: Registrants to a program (workshop, in-person class, or lab practicum) may transfer their registration to another participant (subject to program guidelines), and registrants may be granted a one-time transfer to the same class or comparable program on a new date at our discretion. The request for transfer must be received in writing (by email, fax, or regular mail) no later than 14 days prior to the original registration's program date. Refund requests are subject to our refund policy listed above this section, and such requests must be received no later than 14 days prior to the original initial scheduled program date.

Damaged Products: Damaged DVD ROMs damaged in shipping can be returned for a new DVD ROM if we are contacted within 2 days of the package arrival date and the DVD ROM is shipped back to us (postage paid by purchaser) within 7 working days. Once we receive the DVD ROM and confirm that it is damaged, we will ship a new DVD ROM to the purchaser with shipping costs paid by us for the replacement DVD ROM.
